ABOUT THE SAN DIEGO LAWN BOWLING CLUB

The Club was established in 1932 and is the home club of numerous national and international lawn bowling singles, pairs and rinks (teams of four) champions. The club belongs to the Southwest Division of the United States Lawn Bowls Association.
We're located near the corner of Balboa and Prado Drive (map), in beautiful Balboa Park. Club membership is open to anyone with an interest in the game. Your level of club involvement is very flexible. It can range from playing in the occasional club social game, to participating in club tournaments, to competing in high-level regional and national competition. There is no required time commitment; you decide what fits into your schedule.

Lawn bowling is an active and easy way to make great new friends from all walks of life. It is affordable, healthy, low-stress, outdoor physical activity. The cost of an annual membership is less than $15.00 per month. It is also a gender-neutral sport that can be enjoyed by anyone from age 12 up.
